New Beginnings-The Punisher

Just finished reading the new punisher series, up to 5 anyway. Written by Greg Rucka, drawn by Marco Checchetto, and coloured by Matt Hollingworth.  So far the series is excellent.  The first issue starts off with a massacre at a wedding leaving only one survivor, the bride, a marine who just returned from Iraq. I'm not sure yet but I see potential for a female punisher.  I'll bet many will disagree but I think that could be fun, and if not, kill her off!

My one complain is the lack of Microchip, in my opinion he makes up 1/4 of the punisher if not 1/3.

KILL SHAKESPEARE

Kill Shakespeare is currently my favorite series.  taking place in the world of Shakespeare's books hamlet is sent by Richard III to kill a wizard named, you guessed it, William Shakespeare to bring back his magic quill that can wright the future, on his journey he meets and joins a small group that believes Shakespeare is to be there savior against Richard III. included in this group are Iago, Falstaff, Othello as well as Romeo and Juliet who had both survived their suicide attempts. When I discovered that this was only a 12 issue series I was very upset, I definitely recommend this to anyone who like comics or Shakespeare.

DEADMAN

DEADMAN is one of the most peculiar comics I have ever read. In this 2 book series DEADMAN meets and falls in love with a dead acrobat who reminds him of the joys that he once had when alive.  Unfortunately like all roses there is a thorn, he must now fight for her freedom as well as his.

DEADPOOL

Deadpool is among my favorite characters in the Marvel Univers. His sense of humer and over all 'obliviousness" to just about all social interactions with pretty much every one, often saying offensive or completely inaccurate statements earning him the nickname "the merc with a mouth"

THE PUNISHER

The punisher is most likely one of my favorite comic series, perhaps its the nostalgic value. But I
think it is more likey because of how bad ass he is.
